The Ukelele Guy: Einer Bankz is not playing around.

By: Adam Schwall

No autotune, no 808, no studio equipment, and yet Roddy Ricch and Einer Bankz together sound like they could be the next Beatles. Einer Bankz has established himself as a musical genius among high profile and up ‘n coming rappers. Now with 1.2 million followers on Instagram (@einerbankz), he continues to captivate millions of people with his simple ukulele rhythms and undisputed positive vibes. While I have not met the man myself, I can say that not many people would be able to hang in the same room as Lil wayne and Travis Barker. However Bankz was jamming out with them in the studio a few months ago. With the COVID-19 outbreak among us, it is hard for Einer to seemingly stumble upon new rappers to harmonize with, but surely he is not taking the Quarantine off. Einer also has started his own streetwear brand, Tuned Up. Lil Tjay, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and many other artists Einer’s has collaborated with, support his up and coming clothing line.(@tunedupclothing)

With nothing but time on our hands, we must take a look back at some of Einer’s best videos. A year ago Einer released his most popular video on Youtube, with over seven million views of him and Roddy Ricch flooding Compton with rhythm and soul. This video caught the attention of so many people because of Roddy’s smooth vocals and Einer’s magical fingers on the Uke. Another all time video is with Soulja Boy. As he and Einer walk through his Malibu Mansion, they bring life back to Soulja’s classic “Crank Dat”. Looking forward to hearing more methodic melodies by Einer and his next partner once the Quarantine comes to an end.
